NEHU guest houses renamed after freedom fighters

SHILLONG: The North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong has announced its decision to rename its guest houses after legendary freedom fighters of the state. 

“In pursuance of the executive council resolution…it is hereby notified that the Old Guest House will be renamed as U Kiang Nangbah Guest House and the New Guest House as U Tirot Sing Syiem Guest House with immediate effect,” NEHU assistant registrar (admin) said in a notification on October 3.
