NEHU to battle out in inter University Kickboxing Championship
The North Eastern Hills University Shillong will be battling out in the three days All India Inter University Kickboxing Championship in Jodhpur, Uttar Pradesh from Thursday.
The University is represented by two members of the Meghalaya Association of Kickboxing Organizations (MAKO) namely, Lorenza Songthiang studying B.A. Second semester in Shillong College and Satisfy Syngkon studying in B.A six semester in Thomas Jones synod college along with two other females Susi Disiar (2) Ibadarishisha Mukhim both are from MSKA.
Kickboxing sport (MAKO) in the state of Meghalaya was founded by Master Donny Raphael Ranee since the year 1996 and will celebrate its silver jubilee celebration in reaching 25 years of its existence in the state of Meghalaya this year 2022.
MAKO has already produced many National and International medalists throughout these years many has also got their jobs in the Armed force, Police departments, Home Guards, etc.
MAKO members from all over the state wishes the above Kickboxers best of luck and success for their participation in the above mentioned All India inter University Kickboxing Championships.
