In a significant step towards rural transformation, a team from the Socio-Economic Research and Development Organization (SERDO), New Delhi, led by Dr. B.K. Pandey, has been conducting an in-depth study of Chaprakata Pt. II village in Bongaigaon district.
The initiative aims to develop the village into a model village under the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY), spearheaded by Barpeta MP Phani Bhusan Choudhury.
To accelerate the project, a high-level discussion was held at the District Commissioner’s office, Bongaigaon, bringing together MP Choudhury, District Commissioner Nabadeep Pathak, departmental heads, and SERDO officials.
The discussion focused on implementing key flagship programs of the Central and State Governments to achieve holistic development.
