NGEA urges govt to relieve incumbent secretary to GHADC
The Non-Gazetted Employees Association (NGEA) of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) has urged the administrator to consider the request of the incumbent secretary to executive committee, Rikse R Marak, to be relieved from the post.
“We most humbly and respectfully request you to kindly consider her (Rikse) representation dated December 18, 2020 and relieve her from the post of secretary to EC…,” the association said in its letter to the administrator of the GHADC on Wednesday.
It also informed that none of the employees were absent from the office and all staff including the finance department were attending office. “However, the employees gather only for sometime and take the resolution not to accept the salary for two months in old scale as it is learned that there is revenue in GHADC which will be sufficient to pay atleast for 3 months in revised pay scale,” the association said while adding that secretary however refuse to talk to the employees (on the resolution) and instead issued a show cause notice to the employees.
“Therefore, we humbly request you to kindly revoke the show cause notice issued to our employees,” it said.
Meanwhile, the association also requested the intervention of the administrator to lift the imposition of 144 CrPC from the premises of the GHADC.
