NGO member, two police died in EJH road mishap

Three persons including an NGO member and two police personnel died in a road accident in East Jaintia Hills district.

The incident took place at Dkhiah West on Sunday night. According to police sources, the vehicle carrying the three went and directly hit the back of a moving truck.

The deceased persons have been identified as Edwin Syrti, a member of the Hynniewtrep Achik National Movement (HANM), M Majaw and John Khongsit – who both were personnel of the 6^th MLP battalion.
