No Entry in Police Bazaar

In view of the mass gathering and hopping of general public in Khyndailad point leading to traffic congestion in the vicinity of Khyndailad as well as at the highway, the Shillong Traffic Police (STP) will impose the following traffic regulation on a temporary basis w.e.f. 29th December, 2021 – 1st January, 2022:

NO ENTRY from Grand Hotel point towards Khyndailad (from 2PM onwards); vehicles coming from Motphran and Umsohsun wanting to proceed towards Khyndailad will have to take the Boucher road.

NO PARKING on the stretch from Khyndailad upto Grand Hotel junction i.e., the entire stretch of G. S. Road (From 8AM – 8PM).
