No-entry points declared in Shillong

The state police have declared seven no-entry zones for vehicular movement in view of the 69^th Plenary session of the North Eastern Council (NEC) at Nongrim Hills, Shillong.

The no entry will be effective from 8 am to 5pm on January 23, a statement issued by the SP East Khasi Hills district said on Thursday.

The no entry points include Nongrim Hills Market Junction towards NEC Office, Old Post Office Jn. towards NEC Office, Behind NEC Junction, Nongrim Hills water tank towards NEC Office, DG Assam Rifle Residence Jn. towards NEC Office, Nongshiliang Trai-Ri Church Junction towards D.G Assam Rifle Residence, Seventh Day Junction toward Wood Garage
