No fresh COVID-19 case detected in Meghalaya
Not a single COVID-19 case was detected in the state on Monday, Director of Health Services (MI) Dr Aman War said.
Dr War informed that 21 patients have recovered from the viral infection which included 8 from East Khasi Hills district, 11 Ri Bhoi district and 2 East Jaintia Hills district.
So far, the state has detected a total of 13,942 COVID-19 cases out of which 128 are active cases, 13,666 recovered and 148 deaths.
East Khasi Hills has 90 active cases, West Jaintia Hills 30, Ri Bhoi 4, West Khasi Hills 2, East Jaintia Hills 1 and West Garo Hills 1.
On the other hand, of the 3,54,931 persons who have tested for COVID-19 in the state as on date, 3,40,989 were tested negative for the virus even as 44 persons are in institutional quarantine and 84 under home quarantine.
There are 91,488 entrants from outside the state.
