No odd-even rule for candidates appearing JEE (Advanced) and NEE examination
To facilitate the movement of the examinees who are appearing for JEE (Advanced) and NEE-2021 Examination, the deputy commissioner of East Khasi Hills has eased the restrictions on vehicle movement under the odd and even number rule. However, candidates will have to furnish their admit cards as proof, as and when required.
JEE (Advanced) Examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati will be held on 3rd October 2021 (Sunday).
NEE 2021 Examination conducted by the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) Entrance Examination will be held on September 18 and 19.
The Odd and Even movement of vehicles in East Khasi Hills District will not apply to candidates appearing the examination on the given dates. Vehicles ending with any Registration Number (Odd -1, 3, 5, 7, 9 OR Even-0, 2, 4, 6, 8,) are allowed to ferry the students to the respective Examination Centers and back.
