No water supply in Shillong till October 30

The Executive Engineer (PHE), GSWS Division No-II, Mawphlang has informed that due to breakdown of the 750mm dia C.I. Gravity Main of Greater Shillong Water Supply Scheme at Pomlum village at 11:30 PM on the 27^th October, 2021, there will be no water supply till the evening of 30^th October, 2021.

The areas which will be affected during the above mentioned period are Shillong Municipal Board areas, Shillong Cantonment Board areas, Nongthymmai and Mawlai.

Every effort is being made to complete the repair works for restoration of normal water supply by the evening of 30^th October, 2021. (MIPR)
