No water supply in these areas of Shillong till October 2

The Executive Engineer (PHE), GSWS Division No-II, Mawphlang has informed that due to breakdown of the 750 mm dia C.I. Gravity Main of Greater Shillong Water Supply Scheme at Mawkriah village at 8:30 PM on the 29^th September, 2021, there will be no water supply till the evening of 2^nd October, 2021.

The areas which will be affected during the above mentioned period are Shillong Municipal Board areas, Shillong Cantonment Board areas, Nongthymmai and Mawlai.

Every effort is being made to complete the repair works for restoration of normal water supply by the evening of 2^nd October, 2021.
