Nominations invited for Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation awards

The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District has informed that the Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation has instituted four awards, each carrying a sum of Rs. 10,00,000 (Rupees Ten Lakhs), a citation and a memento in the fields of non-violence and vegetarianism, education, medicine and community and social service.

The aim of the Foundation is to identify, nurture, encourage and honour individuals and institutions who are engaged in providing selfless service to the society and also encourage others to follow suit.
