Nongmynsong Police Out post temporary closed
Nongmynsong Police Out Post will be temporarily closed as the police officials came into close proximity with a secondary contact of a COVID-19’s Positive patient while discharging the professional duties.
According to the press release issued by GK Iangrai, MPS Assistant Inspector General of Police (A) Meghalaya Shillong, as a precautionary measure, Nongmynsong Police Out Post will be temporary closed with immediate effect as police officials of the Out Post came into close proximity with a secondary contact while discharging their official duties.
The Out Post will be closed until the entire premises have been disinfected as per the laid down protocols, and in order to prevent further exposure, the officials of the Out Post have been sent for medical screening and for risk assessment.
The general public residing within the jurisdiction of Nongmynsong Out Post are hereby requested to kindly approach Rynjah Police Station in case of any exigent requirement or assistance, until the Out Post has been declared fit for re-occupation.
