Nongmynsong police outpost reopen
The Nongmynsong police outpost has been declared as fit for re-occupation following closure for 16 days after its officials came into close proximity with a secondary contact of a positive case.
“The outpost has resumed functioning after the police officials who have completed the mandatory quarantine period received medical clearance from health experts to resume their official duties, as their test came out negative,” Assistant Inspector General of Police (A) GK Iangrai informed on Monday.
He said that the outpost has been thoroughly sanitized and disinfected as per procedures, and the public visiting the outpost are requested to strictly follow the health protocol of wearing a mask, practicing hand hygiene and maintaining of social distancing.
