North East Motors launches luxurious ‘Vayujeet’ vanity van in Guwahati
In a dazzling display of innovation and luxury, Northeast Motors launched its latest creation, the ‘Vaayujeet’ vanity van in an exclusive event held at Vivanta Hotel in Guwahati on Friday.
Crafted under the meticulous guidance of Northeast Motors’ managing director, Sanjay Goswami, this vehicle can be used by Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma or any political leader in the campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
“This bespoke vehicle sets a new standard for opulence on the road, accommodating up to six individuals with unparalleled comfort and extravagance,” Goswami said addressing a press conference here.
“We will be happy if Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will use this vehicle for election campaign,” he said.
Named ‘Vaayu Jeet’ by Goswami himself, this marvel of engineering boasts a range of lavish amenities, including a sumptuous bedroom, a fully-equipped washroom, and a suite of entertainment features.
Safety remains paramount with the inclusion of a 360-degree camera system, ensuring peace of mind for occupants throughout their journey.
“One of the standout features of the ‘Vayujeet’ is its specially designed rooftop lift, facilitating effortless access to the vehicle’s elevated platform. Inside, occupants are treated to a state-of-the-art sound system, a 55-inch Sony television, a 190-litre refrigerator, and even a coffee-making machine, providing unparalleled comfort and convenience on the move,” Goswami said.
“The van is equipped to address large gatherings with an integrated sound system. Besides, there are provisions for up to 12 security personnel to stand atop the vehicle. Illuminating the surroundings are 10 high-voltage lights strategically positioned around the van, ensuring visibility and safety during nighttime events,” he said.
There are features such as a 1000-litre drinking water storage tank and an 800-litre garbage tank, underscoring Northeast Motors’ commitment to both comfort and sustainability.
Powering this marvel is a robust Bharat Benz engine, while its components and equipment have been sourced from various European countries, including Germany, Portugal, The Netherlands, Spain, and Italy, with additional contributions from the United States and Singapore.
Goswami revealed that the development of the ‘Vaayu Jeet’ spanned eight months, involving the expertise of approximately 40 engineers, designers, and workers.
However, amidst the grandeur and innovation, Goswami declined to disclose the price of the vehicle and rent for it.
Goswami said: “It will open a new door for the promotion of tourism in Assam and Northeast.”
The debut of the ‘Vayujeet’ marks a significant milestone for Northeast Motors, showcasing their unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive luxury and redefining the concept of travel in style.
