North Liberty Hr. Sec. School football team wins in the State Level Subroto

SHILLONG: North Liberty Higher Secondary School wins their first matches in all categories, U-14 Boys and U-17 Boys and Girls in the State Level Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament 2019 which was held at JNS Complex and MFA playground, Polo Grounds Shillong.

In the U-14 Boys category, North liberty Higher Secondary School which represents West Jaintia Hills District after creating history in becoming champions in all categories in the District Level played their first match and won 4-0 against St. Claret School from South West Garo Hills District.

Meanwhile in the U-17 category, North Liberty Higher Secondary School comfortably won their first matches both boys and girls. The North Liberty girls won 3-0 against Indira Gandhi Memorial Higher Secondary School from Resubelpara, North Garo Hills District whereas the North Liberty boys won 4-1 against Govt Higher Secondary School, Baghmara from South Garo Hills District.

The other results on day 2 in the U-17 boys category were:

Govt. Hr. Sec. School (SGHD) won 3-1 against Ramgsakona Sec. School (SWGHD). Govt. Boys Hr.Sec. School (WGHD) 2-2 against Bajengdoba Hr. Sec. School (NGHD), Pratlynti Sec. School(Ri-Bhoi) won 3-0 against Mariem Sec. Schoo (SWKHD), Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School(WGHD) 2-2 against Bajengdoba Hr.Sec. School (NGHD), Sacred Heart Hr. Sec. School (EGHD) 0-0 against Chiehruphi Sec. School(EJHD).

In the U-17 girls, Sati Raja Memorial Sec. School (Ri-Bhoi) 0-0 against Khliehriat Hr. Sec. School (EJHD), Mawkyrwat Presbyterian Sec. School (SWKHD) won 10-0 against Ampati Govt. Hr. Sec. School (SWGHD), Rongjeng United Darugre Sec. School (EGHD) won 2-0 against Telikali Sec. School (SGHD), Indira Gandhi Memorial Sec. School (NGHD) won 2-0 against Najing Memorial Sec. School (WGHD).

In the U-14 boys category, Umjarain R.C.U.P School (SWKHD) won 6-0 against Chokpot English School (SGHD), Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School (WGHD) 0-0 against Montfort Hr. Sec. School (NGHD), North Liberty Hr. Sec. School (WJHD) won 4-0 against St. Claret School (SWGHD).
