NPP dares to address long pending issues of the state: Shangpliang

The ruling National People’s Party (NPP) on Wednesday hit back at the opposition Voice of the People Party (VPP) for alleging that the party is C team of BJP.

In a statement, NPP spokesperson Himalaya Shangpliang termed the allegation of the BJP as a figment of imagination bereft of facts.

He said the NPP won the 2023 Assembly elections due to the overwhelming support of the people of the state based on the developmental work that the Party has done in the last five years ie 2018-2023.

“Today, the NPP blossoms with the support of the people because it has dared to address the long pending issues of the state that were left unattended and does not resort to mere hollow rhetorics,” Shangpliang said 

“The NPP is working hard to achieve a resounding victory in both the Parliamentary seats in the ensuing MP elections and is positively looking forward to continue its developmental agendas for the people and transformation of the state,” he added.
