The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to hold the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) in offline mode.
“I have been informed by the NTA chairman that this time they will hold UG-CUET exams in offline mode,” Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma told reporters on Thursday.
“They have requested to set up examination centres in school buildings for Shillong, Jowai and Tura,” he said.
He said that the NTA will decide on the number of centres based on the enrolment of students, who will appear for the examination. “This is completely being conducted by the NTA and the state government has nothing to do with this but we are coordinating with the NTA,” he added.
