One more micro containment declared in Jowai

The District Magistrate, West Jaintia Hills District on Thursday tag one more house in Jowai as micro containment after COVID-19 positive cases.

The order issued by Garod LSN Dykes District Magistrate on the recommendation of District Medical Health Officer, West Jaintia HIlls District after the detection of positive COVID-19 cases/ high risk contact in the house and compound owned by Hunbait Challam, Dulong, Jowai.

The order restrict unregulated entry and exit movement in the affected area which requires aggressive contact tracing, quarantine testing and isolation as well as containment in the interest of health of general public against any possible spread of COVID-19.
