Online system available for registration of factory licenses

The Chief Inspector of Boilers and Factories, Meghalaya has informed that all occupiers, owners of all registered units, factories in the State of Meghalaya that the office of the Chief Inspector of Boilers and Factories, Shillong has switch over to the online system of new registration and auto-renewal of factory licenses under the Factories Act, 1948 and the Meghalaya Factories Rules, 1980 with effect from 1^st February 2021.

Hence, all are advised to file the online payment mode for the purpose of Registration and renewal of factory licenses by visiting website https://investmeghalaya.gov.in and no offline application will be entertained.
