Passenger has to pay Rs.300 for taxi to board bus at ISBT Mawiong

Undoubtedly the Interstate Bus Terminus (ISBT) in Mawiong, Shillong was set up to reduced traffic congestion in Shillong city but it has also proven to be bane for the passengers as they now have to pay extra bucks to get there from Shillong or vice versa.

This is evident from the notification issued by the Regional Transport Authority, East Khasi Hills which fixed the rate of Local Taxis ferrying passengers to/from Inter State Bus Terminus Mawiong.

From ISBT Mawiong to/from Police Bazaar Rs. 300/- (On Booking Basis), while from ISBT Mawiong to/from lewduh Rs.300/- (On Booking Basis) and ISBT Mawiong to/from Polo Rs. 300/- (On Booking Basis).
