Permission not required for funerals

In partial modification of Order No.POL.117/2020/Pt./234, dated 1^stFebruary, 2022, for funerals prior permission of the Deputy Commissioner/ Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) is not required, but funerals should strictly adhere to Covid protocols including the capacity of the venue.

This is as per notification issued on February 3 by the Home (Political) Department.
