Phenomenal Woman ‘Beyond the Call of Duty’ video Launched

A part of the music video series “Beyond the Call of Duty” – ‘Phenomenal Woman’ tribute to all Women Police Personnel of the District and the state as a whole was launched in the Conference Room, SP office today in the presences of the Superintendent of Police Lakador Syiem, MPS, Additional Superintendent of Police B Chettri, DSP Headquarter MJ Marngar, DSP (Crime) C Lyngdoh, officers and staffs of the Women cell.

It may be mentioned that the video “Beyond the Call of Duty” has a collection of videos –the first one was -a tribute to the entire District Executive Force for their dedication and service in the fight against COVID-19, second -tribute to all frontline workers of the District and third tribute to the A.N.T.F Branch. An Initiative undertaken by Lakador Syiem, Superintendent of Police, West Jaintia Hills.

Lakador Syiem in his few words has summed up the roles and responsibilities of Women. He lauded the Women Police Force for their enthusiasm and determination in work places despite the responsibility as a daughter, a mother and wife yet they have gone beyond the call to perform their duties and responsibilities.

Officer Incharge Jowai Women PS, Inspector E Marwein expressed her gratitude to the outgoing Superintendent of Police Lakador Syiem and thanked him for the exceptional personality and understanding he has bestowed on them.
