The non commencement of construction of Saikarap to Shella in East Khasi Hills District by M/s Dhar Construction Company & PWD angered the leaders of Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC) Shella Area Unit.

The leaders inaugurated a fish pond on Friday in one portion of the roads where a large pothole surface making it a shape of a fishing pond.
