Pinewood Hotel staff quarters & dormitory declared COVID-19 micro containment

To break the chain of Covid infection in the areas having infected people, District Magistrate East Khasi Hills on Thursday has declared the Staff Quarters and Staff Dormitory of Pinewood Hotel and 5 others houses in Shillong as COVID-19 micro containment Zones.

As per order issued, the House of Smti. M. Kharmawphlang, Riat Laban East, Madan Laban, House of Smti. E Lamin, Lawsohtun Block-2, House of Smti. Tina Warjri, Khliehshnong, Malki, House of Shri. Dylan B. Syiem, Nongpyngrope, Malki, House of Smti. Bioi Talang, Lawjynriew Lumbhalang and the Staff Quarters and Staff Dormitory of Pinewood Hotel, Shillong have been declared as Micro-Containment Zones.

In another order, District Magistrate has lifted the containment orders for the Compound of Haradhan Paul in Oakland, House of Shri. Victor Bhattacharjee at Wahdienglieng,  Flats on the 2^nd and 3^rd floors of the Building of Shri. R. D Pala, Howell Road, Laban and Bamboo Hut Restaurant and staff quarters, M.G Road after no new COVID-19 were detected.
