PM Modi to visit Meghalaya on Dec 18

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting the state on December 18 to attend the golden jubilee celebration of the North Eastern Council (NEC).

Confirming this here on Tuesday, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said, “Yes his (PM) program is confirmed and it is mainly for the NEC’s golden jubilee celebration.”

Sangma said the PM will have two programmes but the details of that will be shared later. “He will be here for 2-3 hour and will fly back to Delhi,” he added.

According to the CM, all necessary security arrangements will be looked at from the SPG side.
