Pohthmi elected as Deputy Chairman of JHADC uncontested

War West MDC Het Pothmi of the National People Party (NPP) has been unanimously elected as the new Deputy Chairman of the JHADC on Tuesday.

The election of the Deputy Chairman of JHADC was held in the first day of the budget session as it has fallen vacant after previous incumbent Ailad Bhoi was absorbed as Executive Member recently.

Presiding over the election, JHADC Chairman Dr S Shangpung informed that his office received two nominations paper in favour of War West MDC Het Pohthmi and as there is no other candidate hence Pohthmi is declared uncontested.

JHADC Chief Executive Member Thombor Shiwat, Executive Member Phasmon Dkhar and Congress MDC Hollando Lamin felicitated Pohthmi.
