Police identify suspect behind IED blast at Shillong

A suspect behind the improvised explosive device (IED) blast at Khyndai Lad in Shillong city has been identified.

This was informed by the Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui.

“Today around 6.30 pm an IED blast was triggered at Police Bazar. Suspect have been identified and investigation is on & I am sure that the Police will be able to nab all the people involved,” Rymbui said.

Condemning the incident, the home minister also assured that peace will be maintained at all cost.
