Police to take action against misusing of car pass

East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Shailendra Bamaniya on Monday warned that strict action will be taken as per law against anyone found moving without a pass during curfew hours.

In a statement, Bamaniya informed that many were found misusing the car passes issued by the competent authorities even during the curfew hours which start from 7 pm to 5 am.

He said all are therefore requested to avoid movement during the curfew hours. He added that vehicles only with a curfew pass are exempted from the restriction.
