Price monitoring committee fixed price of commodities

The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Jaintia Hills District in a press release issued here informs the general public that the Price Monitoring Committee has fixed the price of Open Market Sales Scheme (OMSS) and shall come into force with immediate effect.

The price fixation of the authorised stockist from FCI, FSD Guwahati, giving the average distance from FCI, Guwahati upto the godown.

The stockiest price from Ex- FCI, FSD Guwahati is Rs. 2250 per quintal with transportation charges Rs. 300/-, Handling charges Rs. 100/-, Profit Margin Rs 75/- and Rs. 75/- for other charges totalling to an amount of Rs. 2800 per quintal. The Retail Price for distance of 0 km to 20 km from an Ex-stockiest is Rs. 2800/- per quintal including other charges of Rs. 150 totalling to an amount of Rs. 2950/- and the retail price for a distance of 20 Km and above is Rs. 2800/- per quintal including other charges of Rs. 200 totalling to an amount of Rs. 3000/-.
