Public Notice: Winding Up of CMJ University and Invitation for Claims/Objections

The Meghalaya government has formally begun the winding-up process of CMJ University following a Supreme Court judgment dated February 13, 2025, which upheld the state’s 2014 order for the university’s dissolution.
As per a recent notification, Shri D. Lyngdoh, Joint Secretary to the Education Department, has been appointed as the Administrator to oversee the closure. The process is being conducted under Section 12 of the Meghalaya Private Universities (Regulation of Establishment and Maintenance of Standards) Act, 2019, and in line with UGC guidelines.
All stakeholders—including students, faculty, staff, alumni, creditors, and the general public have been invited to submit any claims or objections regarding the university within 30 days of this notice, i.e., by April 25, 2025.
Submissions must be made in writing and should include details such as the claimant’s name, contact information, nature and amount of the claim, a detailed description, and supporting documents.

The Administrator has advised students to collect their academic documents and transcripts. Creditors are requested to submit proof of debt. Late submissions may not be entertained.

is CMJ university degree will be valid who ever already got the degree. also let me know whether farther varification is required or not from Meghalaya Education department.
I am also confused what to do with degree certificate.
