Rakesh elected as new GHADC chairman

NPP MDC from Babelapara constituency Rakesh A Sangma on Wednesday was elected as the new chairman of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC)

Rakesh defeated Congress nominee Cherak Momin after securing 16 votes during the election.

Momin got only 12 votes.
