Recipients of Meghalaya Day Awards announced, Phrangki Buam with U Kiang Nangbah Award

On the occasion of Meghalaya Day Celebration held on Saturday in Tura, the names of the Meghalaya Day Awards 2023 were announced.

Risingbor Kurkalang was honoured with the U Tirot Sing Award for Arts & Literature, Dr. Delphine G Momin received the Pa Togan Sangma Award for Social Services and Phrangki Buam was awarded the U Kiang Nangbah Award for Sports & Games.

Fifteen individuals were bestowed with the Governor’s Police Medal for outstanding service, six received the Chief Minister’s Disaster Response Medal for outstanding service, and twenty-one were honored with the Meghalaya Day Excellence Awards 2023 on that day.
