Religious and Pilgrimage Tour from Tuting to Tawang under Operation Sadbhavna
The Indian Army’s Spear Corps has launched a unique Religious and Pilgrimage Tour under Operation Sadbhavna, aimed at fostering unity, harmony, and national integration. The initiative underscores the Army’s commitment to promoting cultural and religious understanding in the remote regions of Arunachal Pradesh.
The tour was inaugurated at Likabali Military Station by Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 3 Corps, on Saturday.
The event saw the participation of Army officials, local dignitaries, and pilgrims. The pilgrimage spans from Tuting to Tawang, traversing areas of serene natural beauty and profound spiritual significance in Arunachal Pradesh.
20 pilgrims are part of this National Integration Tour. Fostering Communal Harmony: The tour aims to connect diverse communities by showcasing the rich cultural and religious heritage of the region.
By bridging regional and cultural gaps, the initiative fosters a sense of unity among participants. The initiative reinforces the Army’s bond with the local populace, exemplifying its motto of “Nation First.”
