Restriction on issue of transit pass to Assam

In view of the present restriction on Inter-State movement of persons as per recent order of the Government of Assam or even otherwise due to the present COVID-19 situation, the District Magistrate West Jaintia Hills, in an order issued has informed that transit pass from Meghalaya to Assam will be considered only for travel to Airport, Railway station or for Medical Emergency.
