Revised timing for opening of shops in Lockdown period in East Khasi Hills

The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Isawanda Laloo on Wednesday issued order pertaining to shops selling essential items permitted to open during the Lockdown period in the district.

The order was issued in partial modification to this office Order No.C&S.2/CVD/2021/ORD/49, dated Shillong, the 8^th May, 2021, all shops selling essential items permitted to open during the Lockdown period shall remain closed by 5:00 PM, until further orders.

Pharmacies and Pharmaceuticals Stores will open as per existing order and Petrol Pumps are permitted to open till 10:00 PM.

The Superintendent of Police, Incident Commanders and Executive Magistrates, East Khasi Hills will ensure strict compliance to this order.
