Ri Bhoi District gets new SP after reshuffling of SPs and DSPs

The Meghalaya Government on Tuesday effected minor reshuffling of Superintendent of Police and Deputy Superintendent of Police posted in various set up of the elite Meghalaya Police Force.

According to a notification issued by the Governor of Meghalaya, Shailendra Bamaniya, IPS, Superintendent of Police (Traffic) is transferred and posted as the Commandant, 2nd MLP Bn, Goeragre, West Garo Hills, Tura vice SA Rynjah MPS, transferred with effect from the date of taking over charge or until further orders.

SA Rynjah MPS. Commandant, 2nd MLP Bn. Goeragre is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police (F&ES), Meghalaya, Shillong against the existing vacancy, with effect from the date of taking over charge or until further orders.

Giri Prasad M, IPS, Deputy Commandant, 3rd MLP bn. Sahbsein cum SDPO, Sohra is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, Ri-Bhoi District , Nongpoh vice N. Lamare, MPS transferred with effect from the date of taking over charge or until further orders.

Supriya Das, IPS. Addl. Superintendent of Police. East Khasi Hills, Shillong is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police (CID). Meghalaya, Shillong against the existing vacancy with effect from the date of taking over charge or until further orders.

N. Lamare, MPS, Superintendent of Police, Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police (VIS), Meghalaya, Shillong against the existing vacancy with effect from the date of taking over charge or until further orders.

Stanislaus A. Marak, MPS, Dy. Superintendent of Police (Anti Infiltration Directorate), Meghalaya, Shillong is transferred and posted as SDPO (Pynursla), East Khasi Hills District vice B Diengngan, MPS transferred with effect from the date of taking over charge or until further orders.

B Diengngan, MPS, SDPO (Pynursla), East Khasi Hills District is transferred and posted as Dy. Superintendent of Police (Crime). Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh against the existing vacancy with effect from the date of taking over charge or until further orders.

Torid D. Sangma, MPS. Asstt Commandant, 5th MLP Bn, Samgong is transferred and posted as Dy. Superintendent of Police (Hqr), Eastern West Khasi Hills, Mairang vice Herbert P Kharkongor, MPS transferred with effect from the date of taking over charge or until further orders.

Herbert P Kharkongor, MPS, Dy. Superintendent of Police (Hqr), Eastern West Khasi Hills, Mairang is transferred and posted as Asstt. Commandant, 3rd MLP Bn, Sahbsein against the existing vacancy, with effect from the date of taking over charge or until further orders.
