Rihun of Laitumkhrah financing Kim to supply of drugs to Meghalaya

Acting on credible inputs, East Jaintia Hills police arrested a wanted lady accused who is the main supplier of drug in four NDPS cases in the district.

Police said that the accused identified as Kim Khongsai was planning to move from Jiribam, Manipur to Shillong.

The ANTF team and staff of Khliehriat PS conducted Naka and Kim was apprehended at around 1:00 am on Thursday.

During her preliminary interrogation, Kim revealed the role of Rihun Dkhar as one of the financers in 1(one) case.

A team from East Jaintia Hills District proceeded for Shillong today morning and in a joint operation with East Khasi Hills ANTF team, the house of the lady was located. During the search operation, 29.05 gms of Heroin was recovered from her possession. A case is being registered at Laitumkhrah PS for the seizure.
