Road closure for Sohra International Half Marathon

The Organising Committee of the 3rd Sohra International Half Marathon has announced that the road from Laitsohpliah to Sohra will be temporarily closed on September 21, 2024, from 5:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

This closure is to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. The public is advised to plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.

Instructions for Runners:

Bus Schedule:
Buses will begin operating at 4:00 AM.
The last bus will depart at 4:30 AM sharp from Shillong.

Boarding Points:
21K Runners: Barik Traffic Point
10K Runners: Shoppers Stop Mall (Opposite Main Secretariat)
5K Runners: Barik Point towards All Saints and to BSNL Office

Reporting Time:
All runners must report at their designated boarding points by 3:30 AM.
Local Runners from Sohra:
20K & 10K Boarding Point: Lad Thanad, Sohra

Cloak Rooms:
Cloak rooms for belongings will be located 150-200 meters from the finishing point.

Preparation:
Runners are advised to come prepared as no breakfast will be provided in the morning.
