Rotary Club of Jowai holds 29th Installation Ceremony
The Rotary Club of Jowai celebrated its 29th installation ceremony on July 7 at Orchid Inn Bouquet Hall, Thadlaskein.
PDG Rotarian Manas Choudhary graces the event as chief guest and welcome new members Stanly Roy Mulieh and Ashish Kumar Singh, and affirms the club’s leaders for 2024-25.
PDG Choudhary encouraged all members to work together and make valuable contributions, aligning with the Rotary International theme “The Magic of Rotary.”
The new office bearers for 2024-25 are: President Rtn. Rudolf E. Laloo, President Elect Rtn. Reuveny Nongtdu, Vice-President Rtn. S Kmenlang Lato, Immediate Past President Rtn. Deibormi Toi, Secretary Rtn. Montri Passah, Joint Secretary Rtn. Samehi Laloo, Treasurer Rtn. James Monroe Pohsngap, Club Bulletin Editor Rtn. S. Kmenlang Lato, Sergeant at Arms Rtn. Mewothi Gatphoh, Club Administration Chair Rtn. December Four Majaw, Membership Chair Rtn. Reuveny Nongtdu, Rotary Foundation Chair Rtn. Easter Flora Gatphoh, Service Project Chair Rtn. B. Paka Najiar, and Public Image Chair Rtn. Dawan Biam.
Similarly, the Rotary Club of Orchid City Shillong held its inaugural meeting for the Rotary year 2024-25 on July 3 at Hotel Heiga. During the meeting, Rtn. Antony War was formally installed as the President of the club, with his tenure set to continue until June 30, 2025. Additionally, Rtn. Dr. Abir Suchiang was introduced as the new Secretary.
The meeting was graced by the presence of Rtn. G. Pradeep Pillai, the Assistant Governor of Zone 13 of the Rotary International District 3240, along with other esteemed Rotary members.
The gathering marked the beginning of a new chapter for the club, focusing on impactful community service and leadership.
