Roy not fit as governor: KSU
SHILLONG: The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) on Monday slammed the Governor, Tathagata Roy for his pro-Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) statement.
After the CEC meeting held here, KSU chief Lambok Starwell Marngar said the governor is supposed to be neutral but it seems like the governor is behaving like the youngest child of the BJP.
“If he (governor) fails to respect the sentiments of the indigenous people, then he is not fit to be the governor of our state,” he said.
Asked, Marngar said the union leaves it to the wisdom of the state government on whether to demand for the removal of the incumbent governor.
