Rs.100 crores for construction of Tura Integrated Administrative Complex
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma informed that the Tura Integrated Administrative Complex to be constructed at a total cost of Rs. 100 crores will be started in the financial year 2024-25
The announcement was made by Sangma during the placing of the Meghalaya State Budget on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister said that Integrated administrative complexes will be created in all the districts and subdivisions over the next four years while adding that such complexes are already under construction at Jowai and Pynursla.
Sangma said that new office buildings are being constructed at 46 blocks at a cost of Rs 135 crore and most of these buildings will be completed in the next financial year and administrative buildings at 9 new blocks will be taken up in 2024-25. “I am allocating an amount of Rs 30 crore,” he added.

The Chief Minister asserted that infrastructure at police stations and other police buildings are also being upgraded at scale for the first time. He also said that he is certain that all these investments will motivate our government employees to work with higher commitment and improve citizen service delivery.
