SACHET app to help during bad weather

The State Disaster Management Authority, Meghalaya, and the District Disaster Management Authority, West Jaintia Hills, have informed that the Government of India has launched the SACHET App to provide real-time weather alerts and updates. The app is aimed at enhancing public safety during extreme weather events across the state.

Residents of West Jaintia Hills and other districts are encouraged to download the app for timely weather notifications.
