The Raij Chyrmang under the Elaka Jowai organized the ‘Ku Tyngkong’ ceremony, formally acknowledging Pator of Elaka Jowai Raymond Nartiang in Chyrmang village on Thursday.
This unique ritual, performed only once in a Pator’s lifetime, symbolizes their dual role as a religious leader and mediator within the elaka.
Proceeding to Chyrmang village, the Pator was carried across the Myntdu River in Syntu Ksiar, accompanied by Dolloi Elaka Jowai Puramon Kynjing, President Seinraij Jowai Hercules Toi and members of Seiñraij Jowai.
