Sanbor Shullai lays foundation stone for UPHC at Lumparing

Cabinet minister and South Shillong legislator Sanbor Shullai on Saturday laid the foundation stone for construction of a Rs 5 crore Urban Primary Health Centre at Lumparing.

Addressing the occasion, Shullai assured that the implementa0tion of the project will be immediately start without any delay. 

The MLA said he wants this project to be completed at the earliest so, that it will be a big blessing for the general public of greater Lumparing and greater Laban area.

He also thanked the Dorbar Shnong of Lower Lumparing and the Lumparing Sports Club for donating their lands free of cost for construction of the project. 

He also lauded the efforts put on by the official of the Health Department and the Government and also the active participation of the resident of the above noted areas since this is the long long aspiration of the general public in health care.

The programme was chaired by Doncaster Shabong- Rangbah Shnong of Lower Lumparing, and other dignitaries who attend the programme are HB Wahlang- Rangbah Shnong of Upper Lumparing, Shaiphar Wahlang-Rangbah Shnong of Kynjat Phutbol-Riat Laban, members of MCIC 19th South Shillong Constituency and residents of the area.

The speakers during the programme have lauded the sustained effort and dedicated service of Shullai, who have brought various kind of developmental schemes for the welfare and interest of the general public of his 19th South Shillong Constituency.
