Sarma also slammed the state president for listening to his observer who was none but Dipayan Chakraborty, vice president and gave tickets to Ranjit Rabha in Naguapara and to Fojibor Rahman in Shyamnaga and lose both the seats miserably.
“Both the seats were confirmed seats of winning for BJP and we lost both only because you did not listen to me and also to Dr KC Boro who was the state vice president and district incharge, West Garo Hills. I hold you responsible for this,” he said.
“Who is Dipayan and what does he know about Garo Hills that you listened only to him ignoring us totally???” he further asked.
Sarma also recalled that during the election meeting at Nagorgaon village, Tikrikilla on April 6, the state president while reacting to his speech has threatened to take strong action against him infront of hundreds of people adding “because I was narrating the above stated facts and walked out from the meeting when the meeting was still going on.”
“By doing so, you did not only insult me but also insulted Dr M Chuba Ao, our Prabhari and the minister AL Hek indirectly with your that type of behavior and shouted slogans —“Ernest Mawrie go back, Earnest Mawrie murdabad” etc. And as a result we got only 19 votes in that polling station,” he stated.
