SC Sadhu retransferred as DC East Khasi Hills
In major bureaucratic reshuffle, MDA 2.0 Government has retransferred SC Sadhu, IAS as the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District.
Sadhu was previously transferred on March 2023 after assembly election serving just two months and was replace by RM Kurbah, IAS as DC East Khasi Hills. Now Sadhu replaced RM Kurbah ahead of Lok Sabha Election.
According to notification issued on February 6, SC Sadhu, IAS who was the Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Community & Rural Development, Forests & Environment Departments etc replace by R.M. Kurbah.
Kurbah will now take charge as Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Community & Rural Development, Fisheries, Water Resources, A.H. & Veterinary Departments and as Director, Community & Rural Development with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Meanwhile, 19 MCS officers serving as Additional Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner was also transferred.
Smti Brenda L. Pakyntein, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Smti Evarinia L. Warjri, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh, with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
She, shall also function as Additional Deputy Commissioner, in-charge Patharkhmah (Civil) Sub- Division, Patharkhmah, with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders
Shri Alertson Nongbri, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Eastern West Khasi Hills District, Mairang etc., is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Smtj D.D. Syngai, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Smti Dalikynti Kharshjing, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
On her services having been replaced at the disposal of Personnel & A.R, (A) Department by Community & Rural Development Department, Smti Adiel R Kynta, MCS, Assistant Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong and Block Development Officer, Mawryngkneng Community & Rural Development Block, is transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner, Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Shri Banteilang J.Kharshandi, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Education Department with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Shri Ronnieson Wahiang, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Forest & Environment Department with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Shri Shanborlang warjri, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, General Administration Department with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.

Shri Albert G. Momin, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Garo Hills District, Williamnagar etc., is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong, with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Shri Kapil Koch, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, North Garo Hills District, Resubelpara is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong, with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Shri Glistering Dhar, MCS, Assistant Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District/ Shillong etc., shall also function as Assistant Commissioner, Pynursla (Civil) Sub Division, Pynursla with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.

On his services having been replaced at the disposal of Personnel & AR. (A) Department by Community & Rural Development Department, Shri Steveford Marwein,MCS, Assistant Commissioner, Ranikor (Civil) Sub-Division and Block Development Officer, Ranikor, Community & Rural Development Block, is transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner, East Khasj Hills District, Shillong, with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
His services are partially placed at the disposal of Community & Rural Development Department for appointment as Block Development Officer, Mawphlang Community & Rural Development Block with effectfrom the date of taking overcharge and until further orders.
