Schedule for movement of vehicles over Sonapur Bridge notified

In order to continue with the repair/rehabilitation of Sonapur bridge, A Baranwal IAS, District Magistrate, East Jaintia Hills District on Thursday notified a schedules for movement of vehicles over the bridge .

On 25.02.2022 to 28.02.2022: Only LMVs upto a total weight of 3 MT shall be allowed during the period of repair like Car/Jeep/Van etc.

On 3.03.2022 to 06.03.2022: Only LMVs upto a total weight of 3 MT shall be allowed during the period of repair like Car/Jeep/Van etc.

On 12.03.2022 to 14.03.2022: Complete closure of all types of vehicles for doing load testing on the bridge.
