SCSTE Meghalaya successfully concludes Science Exposure Trip 2025
The State Council of Science, Technology & Environment (SCSTE) Meghalaya has successfully concluded the Science Exposure Trip 2025, with four batches of students and teachers returning home after an enriching journey to Kolkata, Chennai, and Bengaluru.
The initiative provided participants with first-hand exposure to science and technology through visits to renowned institutions.
In Kolkata, they explored Science City, Victoria Memorial, Rail Museum, Botanical Garden, and Indian Museum. Chennai’s itinerary included IIT Madras, Periyar Science Centre, Anna Library, Arun Ice Cream Manufacturing Industry, ICAR, and Marine Life Research at Marina Beach. In Bengaluru, they visited the Centre for Brain Research (IISc), KSCST Centre for Sustainable Technologies (IISc), HAL Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum, Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, and witnessed live science demonstrations by IISc research scholars.
