Seiñraij Jowai says thank you for the grand Behdienkhlam celebration

Seinraij Jowai extends its deep appreciation and gratitude to each and everyone who has been taking and playing a pivotal role that has resulted in the majestic and monumental success of the Behdieṅkhlam State Festival Celebration 2022.

The Organisation expresses its most sincere gratefulness to Shri. Arjun Ram Meghwal Ji, Honorable Union Minister of State for Culture, Government of India along with his team from the Ministry of Culture for being with us and witness the colorful Festival. Our profound admiration to Shri. Satya Pal Malik, Honorable Governor of Meghalaya and Shri. Conrad K. Sangma, Honorable Chief Minister, Government of Meghalaya for their best wishes.

Special thanks to His Lordship Shri. Sanjib Banerjee, Chief Justice, High Court of Meghalaya for blessing us with his kind presence during the celebration. We are indebted to Shri. Metbah Lyngdoh Honorable Speaker, Meghalaya Legislative Assembly as well as to Shri. Sanbor Shullai, Honorable Minister Arts and Culture, etc Meghalaya and Shri. Kyrmen Shylla, Honorable Minister, Social Welfare, etc, Meghalaya for being with us.

Our special gratitude to Smti. R.V Suchiang, IAS Chief Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya and Dr. Lajja Ram Bishnoi, IPS, Director General of Police, Meghalaya for being a part and parcel of the celebration of the Festival. Departments including Arts & Culture Departments, Planning Departments, Tourism Department and North Eastern Council deserved an exceptional recognition for all the support for the Festival.

Words are not enough to express our sincere gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills District and the Superintendent of Police, West Jaintia Hills District for the tireless and seamless effort on their behalf towards the celebration of the Festival. The Jowai Municipal Board, PHE Department, PWD Department, MeECL and other line department who plays a key role in making the celebration a grand one.

Special appreciation to the Doordarshan Kendra Shillong, All India Radio Jowai, Syllad, Wyrta and the other members of the print and media for spreading and disseminating the celebration of the State Festival to the rest of the country and the world. Last but not the least, Seinraij Jowai convey its gratitude to the Soo Langdoh (Four priest) of the elaka Jowai, Seng Khasi Seng Kmie and other Branch of Seinraij along with all the Dorbar Shnong who are the chief participants of the festival for such a strong cooperation and coordination in making the Festival a grand and a colourful one. Seinraij Jowai will also cherish and treasure the warmth support of many foreign Tourists as well as domestic Tourist with their presence and witnessed the grand celebration of the State Festival.
